Three ideas for banners and campaign prints

01

Set the scene for the season

An in-store banner can highlight seasonal products or define a campaign area. Repeat colours and messages from the window to the sales floor, and plan mounting and graphic changes from the start.

03

Take the campaign to an exhibition

An exhibition wall can bring your stand together, while a roll-up highlights one message close to the visitor. Use a consistent graphic across formats and adapt the amount of text to the viewing distance.

Choose banners and displays for the campaign location

A campaign display should suit both its location and how it will be used. Use this overview as a starting point, then discuss materials, mounting and exact dimensions with Visuel Print.

Plan the message, viewing distance and format together

A facade banner is usually viewed from a different distance than a roll-up beside an exhibition stand. Distribute information according to where it will be read. Let larger surfaces carry the main message and use smaller displays for details visitors can approach.

Start with the actual visible print area, rather than the wall dimensions alone. Mounting, edges, doors and other features can affect where the artwork fits. A photo and approximate dimensions are more useful than adapting a file before the system has been chosen.

Plan graphic changes before choosing the mounting

A one-off campaign and a facade with regularly changing graphics require different workflows. Consider who will replace the print, where the system will be operated from and how the location can be accessed.

SpiderSystem may be relevant when a facade banner needs to be lowered and raised for graphic changes. With a fixed installation, the banner finishing and fixing method still matter. The configurator provides a starting point; discuss the actual setup and installation with Visuel Print.

Questions and answers

How does an indoor banner differ from a facade banner?

The location affects the relevant materials, finishing and mounting. Outdoor conditions need to be considered for the entire system. Explain where and how the banner will be used, even if your artwork is already prepared.

Can I order a new banner for my existing mounting?

Send photos, dimensions and details of the system and banner edges. Visuel Print can help identify the appropriate print and finishing. The visible artwork size is not always the same as the total production size.

What should I consider when preparing artwork?

Follow the instructions for the particular product and mounting system. Agree dimensions, any allowances and the placement of important text before completing the file. If you only have a logo or draft, you can start the discussion with that.

Can the same campaign be used on several products?

Yes, a consistent graphic direction can be used across banners, exhibition walls and roll-ups. Adapt the composition to each format so the message and logo remain well placed, rather than simply stretching the artwork to new dimensions.
